who are biomedical engineers? biomedical engineers are people who work in a field of prosthetics (artificial limbs). according to the National Limb Loss Information Center, about 1.8 million americans live with limb loss, including seventy thousand kids and teens. one thousand babies are born with missing of incomplete limbs each year. people who enjoy math, science, building things, and helping others, this could be a field that you might be interested in. i would like to go into a field of biomedical engineering, it is a great opportunity for me and others. this article also stated that it needs more people to help with this program.
